This house is a 1 bed and 1 bath. The bed room holds a queen size bed and there's a queen size murphy bed out in the living room, along with a large couch for lounging or sleeping needs. Step out the back door to the screened-in patio. A full kitchen for your culinary needs, and for entertainment you have WiFi, Netflix, and Hulu. The area is known for its fishing so of course hit the water to wrangle in your record Bass, or do a little duck hunting. Just down the street a stones throw is Camp Mack River Resort the areas biggest draw. Boat ramps, Fuel, Bait and Docking all available for small fees. Don't have your own boat? Rent one of their's or sign up for the Alligator Airboat tours. You can even walk over with your evening drink to grab a bite at the food truck and watch on of the weigh-ins after a tournament, or sit buy the fire that never seems to go out and share your fish stories. "Cutty Shack" is the perfect fishing retreat. It is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath home built by our family in 1969. The Cutty Shack will sleep 6-7. This large stilt home (all living area is upstairs) is situated directly over the Kissimmee River and right next door to Camp Mack River Resort. You and your group can enjoy peaceful evenings in the house, or walk next door to grab a drink and watch a "weigh-in". Life on the Kissimmee River is very peaceful. On some weekends and holidays, Camp Mack may have concerts and fishing tournaments, making the scene more lively. Lake Kissimmee State Park is less than one mile away and is a great place for picnics or hikes. If you have a large group, the Cutty Shack is so close to Camp Mack that additional members of your party can stay there and still be within walking distance. Additional information: Parking for pick-up trucks and trailers is available on the property. Camp Mack amenities include Boat ramp ($6), camp store, ATM, fishing licenses, bait, and tackle. There is even a food truck if you don't catch enough fish for dinner. Airboat rides provided by local guides are available through Alligator Cove Airboat Nature Tours. The Cutty Shack is a stilt house over 50 years old in the middle of Florida. It was built by our family for our family. At any time of year, we may have lots of bugs, gators, sandhill cranes, etc. If you are looking for a place to stay while you fish or hunt, this is it. Evening activities include playing cards, games, watching movies or sitting by the fire at Camp Mack. It is rural and rustic. If you are looking for new, modern and fancy, you may want to look closer to Orlando or check out the Hampton Inn in Lake Wales. Our house maybe just 20 minutes from downtown Lake Wales, but it's a world away. Bring your bass boat! We have a boat slip under the house that is included in the rental. Five generations of our family have enjoyed this little slice of Florida paradise, and we hope you will too!

Our home is a 2 story house with 3 bedrooms upstairs with queen size beds and 1 full bath with large tub. Downstairs you’ll find the master bedroom with king size bed and master bath with large walk in shower. Kitchen, living and laundry are also located on the first floor. The porch is screened in and faces the lake, on the back of the house is a large covered carport/patio area with a gas grill and a separate gas griddle. We also have an area off of the side of the house with a wood fire pit. We also have a dock with boat house. Please be aware there are usually airboats out on the lake and our neighbors also have airboats. They can be noisy and sometimes they come in from riding later at night. The house doesn’t sit right on the water and it isn’t an issue for us but we’re use to the noise. My brother also uses the dock from time to time and puts his boat in and out at the water.
